Electrical Inspection

About us and how we work

Swiss Electrical Inspection Directory lists electrical inspectors across Switzerland — every business we find in public sources, not only those that pay.

Who is behind it

Swiss Electrical Inspection Directory is published by Luca Obi – fox directories, 5612 Villmergen. It is part of fox directories, a series of specialist directories for different trades that all work the same way (list below).

Where the information comes from

Businesses did not submit their listings to us themselves. We compile them from publicly accessible sources: public registers and directories. We include natural persons only if they demonstrably offer their services independently, with their own business or website.

Where a business has its own website, we read contact details, opening hours, services and description there and compare them with the other sources.

How a listing is made

  • Information from several sources is merged into one listing. Addresses are checked against the official building register, duplicates are merged.
  • The short description summarises what the business says about itself on its website. It and its translations are written with the help of AI; a second, independent check reads samples against the source.
  • We do not add anything we cannot back up. If something is missing, the field stays empty.

What businesses can do

Every business can take over its listing free of charge and maintain its details, ask for a correction or have the listing removed. The way to do so is shown on every listing.

How the order is decided

Listings marked “Premium” rank higher. Otherwise the order reflects completeness, reviews and whether the business looks after its own listing.
